The FEISOL CB-50D Ball Head features a FEISOL-designed revolutionary locking mechanisms: the dual-caliper locking system.
This unique apparatus involveses two locking systems — one to lock the ball head sphere, the other to lock the base plate for even greater stability, thus allowing for the added capability of rotating the base plate while maintaining a locked sphere.

The CB-50D was specifically designed for FEISOL’s Tournament Class Tripods, and its ball head knobs will not touch the tripod’s leg tubes in reverse folding position.

To insert
– loosen Quick Release Knob
– press Safety Button
– insert Plate and lock in place
– tighten Quick Release Knob

To detach
– loosen Quick Release Knob
– press Safety Button and remove Plate

Tips for smooth camera adjustment with the CB-50D
– loosen Ball Locking Knob to desired tension
– lightly tighten Friction Control Knob (no more than half a turn)
– friction is maintained when Ball Locking Knob is released — no further adjustment needed!
